Standard Business Valuations LLC was formed in June 2025 to continue providing business valuations to Banks, Business Brokers, Businesses and Estate and Gift Tax Attorneys by John Houser.

John previously worked as an independent contractor at McNair McLemore Middlebrooks & Co. CPA’S for six years. His primary areas of focus were business litigation and most recently business valuations. John supervised and prepared over 270 business valuations in the last 5 years. Prior to joining McNair in 2018 John served as the CEO of Southern Trust Insurance Company.

John has been a CPA for over thirty years. John has also served on the boards of two publicly traded banks, the Community Foundation of Central Georgia and the United Way. John currently chairs the Macon-Bibb County Hospital Authority Audit Committee and is a member of the Atrium Health Navicent Board of Directors. John was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon during his service in the United States Navy.
